Central Washington University

CWU employees are the university’s best patrons and supporters. Employees who invest in their institution have the largest impact on their own futures and the decisions of other contributors. The more we support Central, the more Central can do for our students, faculty, and staff.

All staff and faculty are encouraged to contribute to the university by donating to the Central Washington University Foundation. Funds contributed to the Foundation support Central’s programs, scholarships, faculty and staff development, and basic academic and general operating expenses. Your monetary donations will help to reduce stress on the university’s budget, increase student scholarship awards, and provide a tax deduction for the individual donor.

Contributors to the CWU Foundation can designate a specific purpose or fund account for their gifts. The two most desirable unrestricted funds are the Students First Fund, which supports scholarships, room and board, books, extra-curricular student expenses, and emergency student funding; and the Pillars Fund, which supports many departments at CWU and its six centers, from basic academic operating costs to distinctive programs. If you prefer to restrict your gift to support a specific scholarship, college, or personal interest, there are opportunities for that as well.
