Jack Dugan Aviation Fund

Jack Dugan was a Professor Emeritus at Central Washington University after having taught at CWU for 39 years. Jack died of cancer Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at home in Ellensburg. Jack was an experienced pilot, experimental aircraft builder, and avid supporter of the aviation community, including serving on the Kittitas County Airport Advisory Board since its inception.  A fund has been established in Jack's memory. The fund will be used to help students majoring in any CWU Aviation Dept. program that apply for funds to cover expenses for aviation-related conferences or other learning experiences, for example E.A.A. Air Venture, Northwest Aviation Conference, Women in Aviation Conference, AOPA Conference, that are deemed appropriate by the CWU Department of Aviation.
